Property in Turkey by the sea – the best locations where you can buy a good flat
This country is large and is washed by four seas: the Black Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Marmara Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. On the coast (on the first line) of each of them you can find something special and good. You can buy a flat in Turkey by the sea in the following cities:
- Istanbul. It is the largest city in Turkey. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday: a lot of flats by the sea for every taste, well working public transport, shopping malls and much more. But to buy a flat in Turkey by the sea in this city, you will have to pay a lot, because the prices here are relatively high. This is, in fact, a classic: the bigger the city in size, the more expensive it is. If we talk about flats by the sea, here it is the Marmara Sea. The northern part of Istanbul does not go to the Black Sea. But there is the Bosphorus, and buying a flat near it is also a good investment. Though by the sea is always better. Istanbul is one of the noisiest (if not the noisiest in general) cities in Turkey. It does not affect the sales of flats negatively, however. Where there are more people, there is more profit from renting out flats to tourists.
- Izmir. It is also not a small city, but not as big as Istanbul. You can buy apartments and flats even by the sea here for not such a big price as in the biggest settlement of Turkey. Transport connections here are also good. An interesting fact is that there are two separate tram systems, each of which stretches by the sea. In Turkey, this solution is popular, and therefore near the tram lines the cost of flats will be much higher than away from them. Izmir is no exception.
- Antalya. It’s a classic. One of the most popular resorts in Turkey, it is located in the south of the country. By the sea, there are flats in all areas, and therefore anyone who wants to invest can buy them. There will always be sales, as well as offers. The city is not as noisy as Istanbul or even Izmir, but there will always be something to do here.
- Alanya. This is another well-known resort in Turkey, where there are plenty of flats by the sea for everyone. In contrast to Antalya, this city is smaller, here lives a little more than three hundred thousand people. It is one of the quietest cities in Turkey. An ideal place to relax.
- Kusadasi. It is also a small resort town in Turkey. There are plenty of apartments and flats by the sea, and their prices are lower than in other cities. Even fewer people live here – just over a hundred thousand. But the Aegean Sea beckons tourists from all over the world, and the corresponding infrastructure only contributes to this. As well as clean beaches with clear water.
- Mersin. This city not so long ago started to develop its tourist infrastructure. It is a famous port in Turkey, which is connected by regular passenger railway service with another large centre – Adana. The international airport is located there. Flats and apartments here are sold at a reasonable price, because tourism here has just begun to develop, and the task of developers and authorities is to attract holidaymakers to this metropolis (in it for the convenience of residents and travellers began to build an underground).
Also the small towns that are located on the motorway that runs along the Mediterranean coast are popular in Turkey. They are quite small, some of them can even be called villages. These settlements in Turkey is also popular among tourists and investors. With a yield of 5-12% per annum and payback in 10-20 years to invest in flats – it is a profitable business. Which city to choose – everyone decides for himself. It’s good everywhere.
